I started planting corn in this part of land awarded to SUFA members. I chose corn because it can be a substitute for rice. Before, we only eat fish, dried fish, without rice. We cannot even afford to eat three times a day. This all changed when we got installed and received support services from various agencies. These corn seeds were from the Department of Agriculture. This is our second planting of corn. We stored some from our previous harvest, now we have something to eat with fish or meat every day.
