A Bittersweet End to Land Struggle

When I was working with a fertilizer manufacturing company, I didn’t like what I was doing. The job was really a risk for my health because of the chemicals that I’m handling. Back then, I really knew what I wanted to do. I wanted to farm.

My wife was a CLOA holder. With KAISAHAN’s help, we were installed in a land awarded by DAR last 2017. Sadly, two years later, my wife passed away due to diabetes. If we were not installed and cultivating our own land when she was sick, it might be impossible for me to have enough money for her treatment. I was able to pay hospital bills and give her a proper funeral without any debt. //
